My husband, Michael, and I started our homeschool journey with our children, Lillian & Ethan, in 2020.
We initially started homeschooling in response to our preschool closing, and we quickly found the experience to be our permanent plan.
Homeschooling gives us the flexibility to tailor the learning content to our children’s interests. The one-on-one attention you can provide through home instruction is unrivaled, even compared to pricey personal tutors.
Our study program includes exploring the natural world,
playing games, building things, book studies, and hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom.
That last bit, about the hands-on learning, that’s why this page exists. Wild and Free Homeschool exists to educate others on the benefits of homeschooling and empower other parents to offer their children a practical education in settings that spark curiosity.
This is an open forum so, please, if I can be a resource for you in any way, don’t hesitate to write.
