The holidays bring about a lot of excitement and chaos. I love to have activities on hand that are easy, low mess and low stress! Independent activities are always a win but I also enjoy the opportunity to sit down and connect as well.
I created this Holiday Workbook with my children in mind. My kids are ages 7 and 3. Both enjoy the opportunity to be independent and express their creativity. There is a lot of opportunity for that included in this instant download PDF file. I also know they enjoy school work if it is more discrete. What better way to work on letters recognition than coloring an intricate alphabet. There are so many ways to utilize the letters as well. Practice spelling your child’s name, find objects around the house that start with that letter, line the letters up in alphabetical order, and so much more.
My children also require lots of movement. Therefore the activity worksheets aren’t overwhelming. Enough to grasp a topic but not too much to bore the child. We often find ways to turn worksheets into hands on learning activities too! Use playdough to shape a letter or create shapes to represent a math problem.
